Time to put the newer retros aside to make way for a classic. The Jordan 9 “Olive” will be releasing halfway through this month after originally being released in 1994. Unlike recent retros, the Olive 9 seems to be of the same quality as the OGs and retros released in 2002. In addition, nothing has changed as far as design. They sport the classic black leather upper with a light olive mudguard and hints of red throughout the midsole, tongue and heel. These are sure to cause a stir within the sneaker community so make sure you stay tuned with us to secure your pair! More pictures after the jump.

Jordan, wore Converse throughout his entire college career, at the University of North Carolina. He wore the Converse Pro Leather his freshman year, when he hit the game winning shot in the 1982 NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship, and the Converse Pro Star for the remaining 2 years he played in North Carolina.
